Position Overview:

Overall ship’s command and responsibility to ensure safety of crew, cargo and environmental protection.  policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance with safe navigation of the vessel, including route planning, monitoring of weather conditions, and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations. This also involves overseeing the operation of the ship’s equipment and systems
• Ensuring the safety of the crew, vessel, cargo, and the environment is the Master’s top priority. This includes conducting safety drills, maintaining safety equipment, and ensuring compliance with international and local safety regulations.
• Overseeing loading and unloading operations to ensure that cargo is handled safely and efficiently is a key responsibility. This includes ensuring that the vessel is loaded in a way that maintains stability and complies with the ship’s cargo plan.

Qualifications:

• Holder of valid COC (STCW Reg II/2) with verification and STCW certifications required for the position.
• Minimum 12 months experience in Rank on same type/size of vessel
• English proficiency written and spoken.
